Eloise Taylor, 75, a resident of Thibodaux, left this earth on Monday, July 31, 2017 .

A Memorial service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 9am at St. Luke Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A private burial will occur at a later date.

She is survived by her brother, Charles Jay Taylor of New Orleans and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Sarah Bartley Taylor.

Eloise was a foster parent to many children throughout the years. She was a member of the Eastern Stars Sunflowers and the secretary of Bayou Interfaith Shared Community (BISCO) in Thibodaux. She was retired from the Lafourche Parish Health Unit.

My sister u have done your work here so I say to the family, we will miss her and her beautiful smile, she is at peace now and finishing up her work there, rest on my friend rest on till we meet again, you will always be in my heart so I say again Rest In Peace. My friend forever!

Also worked with Weezie at the Health Unit. Loved the Christmas party. She always made the best pralines! Sweet lady. She will be missed.
